Paragraph 3.5.2  Information of data subjects

174. To allow users to exercise effective control over their data, rental companies must provide clear and explicit information to customers in relation to what data that is likely to be processed locally, the purpose of the processing, and the option to, at all times, deactivate data collection and delete the data concerned. For example, if the car’s dashboard is equipped with a “delete button”, the rental companies must draw the attention of the customer on this functionality.
